Phoenix Bar and Grill in Shirley

Heard new owners took over the first of the year and decided to give it a try a few months ago. I'm glad I did. The place is awesome. People are very friendly, servers were super and the food was great. I had fish and chips. It was cooked perfect and there was plenty of fish and the fries , wow, so much I couldn't finish. I asked for extra coleslaw and it wasn't a problem and no up charge. Quite the meal for only $10. I go back one to two times a week now and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend it.

$17 Queen cut prime rib. Great value, also great DJ at night.

Currently under new ownership. I must say I am enjoying the new atmosphere where there are uniform attire and it has more of a neat business like appeal. Looking forward to more to come.

Not good. Patrons are rowdy. Police were called to take care of a fight in the parking lot.. this place definitely needs some help from that show Bar Rescue and needs respect back the employees don't seem like they care and I have no idea who the owner or manager is food was served semi warm..

Great food!! Had the fish and chips special that they had on a Wednesday. It was all you could eat for 10$. I only had one plate! Very filling and good!

As always, the All you can Eat fish & fries for $10 every Wednesday can't be beat. Food excellent, service excellent and waitresses friendly. Highly recommend!

Great service and food everytime!

I really liked the decor of the Phoenix Bar and Grill. It's very sports themed but in a very nice way. They have a lot of classic sports stuff on the walls. I got the Buffalo Chicken Tenders and they were DELICIOUS! Nice and spicy! My colleagues got a butternut squash bisque which they kept saying what super good. I would definitely go back for dinner or for lunch again. It appeared that they also had a great selection for a bar.

While the food was good as always, the service was not up to par.

Great place to celebrate St. Patrick's day! Friendly crowd, excellent service, and the live music was terrific! Will definitely be back.

Quick service, great drinks, good food, clean, friendly staff

Would give it zero star if possible. Didnt even get past the drinks, one drink had something floating in it and my water had the waitress earing in it. Sad thing is the waitress didnt even notice her earing fell into my glass of water. Scared to find out what we might of found in the food.

A solidly good restaurant. I have eaten here 3 times now and have yet to have a bad meal. The prices are good and the food is pretty well seasoned with decent portions. So far the staff has been attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend for a casual meal.

This place is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a special lunch, this place comes instantly to my head. superb and many types of food and a rich cuisine.helpful crew, and great spirit. And very important, the price is honest. I tell about this place with no hesitation.

Great night to sit outdoors. My wife & I both had Haddock, 1 baked 1 fish & chips. Both excellent. Good service, good price. Highly recommend.

The Phoenix bar and grill is awesome. Every Wednesday they have a fish fry all you can eat. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday they have an early bird special from 4 to 6 pm. Service is great. The food is excellent. Stop by and enjoy.

Beautiful inside woodwork with friendly and helpful staff. Local people are friendly and great atmosphere. Good food and prices are average to average high. Booth seats are a little worn out and the bathrooms are VERY 80'S and need updates. Shouldn't have to hold the handle entire time toilet flushes esp in public. All in all a great place for a bite to eat and a cocktail. A solid 8.5 outta 10😀

Not from around the area..It was a nice place, free pool and jukebox was dope. The servers were all really nice. I'd go back again if i am in the area.

I've met up with friends to play dice games. I haven't ordered food in years. Used to get the steak tip sub and sweet potatoe fries. They offer a small poo table, darts and possibly live music.

Very friendly staff, laid back. The average person there is generally quiet. Has darts, pool, and some arcade/pinball machines.

The prime rib was outstanding. Our waitress Amy was absolutely fantastic.

The food here is surprisingly good for a bar and the staff is always super friendly. They have a selection of good beers too. I like to come for lunch and see what's the special of the day.

Great live band playing classic rock from 70s. Full of people...waitstaff are nice but slow. Need a few more motivated people. Tasty pub grub!

This is literally the real life of my life “Cheers” in my opinion. I have met and became friends with just about all of the people the work there, and can say they are some of the nicest people I’ve had the privilege of meeting. Not just the staff, but the customers who come fairly regularly will accept you like family. I would honestly rather go here than anywhere else I’ve been. Good people, good food, and good service.

Always yummy food at The Phoenix. We don't come often but each time was very satisfying. Good size portions too.

We had a business lunch at this place last time I was in town. It has a great atmosphere with a lot of neat antiques around for decoration. The service is a little slow, but the food comes out fresh, hot, and is very good. The portions are big, and you will leave full with a doggy bag. Value for your money is very good.
